London Fashion Week SS13

It's the third day of London Fashion Week and the shows of Spring/Summer 13. The collections so far have been absolutely stunning but there is one that stands out the most to me. Although I don't usually like florals and coloured prints, Caroline Charles' SS13 collection is one of my favourites so far. It reminds me of Katy Perry 'California Girls', with bright pinks, blues and yellows, the collection was certainly a colourful one.

My favourite piece in this particular outfit are the yellow wedges.
(They also come in orange & blue)

I love this playsuit, even though it is a floral print!

After these beachy, looser fitting pieces came tailored jackets.

After the tailored pieces came the dipped hem maxi skirts.

I have to admit, I'm not a fan of hats, however I do like this look.
I like the relaxed top with the skirt and those amazing wedges.

And if you have read my blog before, you know my favourite colours are black and white.
To finish off this collection, there was monochrome.

This is my favourite outfit out of the whole collection.
Personally, again, I'm not a fan of the hat.. but saying that, the laced top with the black trousers looks so elegant.

Zoe Jordan
Spring/Summer 13

This collection has a bit of everything.

Starting out with baby pink, straight into turquoise metallics, into on trend prints and topped off with an infusion of orange and red this collection was filled with incredible pieces.

The silver panels on this dress create a slimmer shape. I love this whole outfit, and I particularly like the laid back hair and make up of the models in the collection.

I absolutely love metallics.
Co-ords have been huge this year and are likely to trickle into next season on the high street too.

I love the print Zoe Jordan has used throughout the collection. It is so simple but amazing. Especially paired with a simple jacket like this one.

Usually I would say orange, red with a hint of pink just wouldn't work, but here, it really does!

Maxi dresses are my favourite thing to wear. They are so comfortable and easy to wear. I love this dress. The t-shirt style dress has been particularly evident throughout the high street this year.

The next show is from the fourth day of shows. Christopher Kane.
Kane is one of the luckiest designers when it comes to his career. He is so talented, Versace hired him immediately after he graduated.
His Spring/Summer 2013 collection consisted of a similar colour scheme to SS12, with pastel pinks, yellow and white being persistent throughout.

The show began with white.

This white tailored two piece is absolutely stunning.
The shape of the trousers are flattering for any shape.

This dress isn't really 'ready to wear' but on the runway it looks amazing.
The fabric, textures and colours work together to create a stunning dress.

This coat dress is a very elegant piece, but has hints of military and exaggerated shoulders.
The shape of the dress creates curves and has a very subtle but sophisticated print.

This dress is one of my favourite pieces from fashion week so far.
Kane has designed this beautifully.
The sheer hemline covers the part of your legs you may feel unconfident about.
The waist detailing will also flatter every woman, pulling her in at her smallest point.
