My wardrobe ❤

As I am a fashion blogger, it is obvious I love fashion & I love shopping! (a little too much perhaps!)
Through working in my A level year, I managed to make enough money to have a weekly shopping trip :) ...
But there are a few items I purchased which are my absolute favourite fashion pieces. I tend to buy mostly black and white clothes, and use accessories to brighten up my outfit!

Almost versace...

Okay, maybe its not almost Versace.. Its primark... But I was out shopping today and saw this sleeveless blouse for £10. I thought it was absolutely gorgeous.

3.1 Phillip Lim

Phillip Lim is a new emerging designer who has only been on the catwalks for approximately 5 years. His Spring/Summer 12 collection was full of beautiful pastels and elegant garments. Through researching him for a university project, my group learnt alot!
We had heard of Phillip Lim, but he wasn't as well known as Chanel and Givenchy. However, through looking at his flagship stores in Seoul, Singapore, New York, Los Angeles & Tokyo, he has a real talent for design and his stores are incredible! They are so well designed and have such eye-catching architecture.

His famous bag is the Pashli bag which pretty much sells out everytime it is released in another print or colourway xox
These are some images of his flagships stores...

Alexander McQueen AW12/13

This collection from Sarah Burton was totally unique. Fierce Feathers and a beautiful colour pallet, this collection was one of a kind.

My latest buys...

TOPSHOP

Everything here is from Topshop...
I love this shirt! It was only £38 and can be worn casually or dressed up! The detailing in the back is on trend and is completely different to anything else on the high street. I also love the studded slippers. I bought them in white and nude pink because they are so comfy and the nicest pair of flats I have ever set eyes on! :)

Wardrobe Essential ...

This dress may just look a very plain simple basic, however, This is an absolute essential for your wardrobe! I purchased this dress in black, and I am tempted to buy it in every other colour! At £20 or £18 if you're lucky enough to be a student, this is an absolute steal! It can be dressed up with heels and a blazer, or dressed down with tights, flats and a leather jacket!

University project ..

At University, one of our modules is Design & Visual Communication. This involves taking images, creativity and a whole lot of photoshop! Unfortunately, the model I wanted to use wasn't available on the day of the photoshoot, so I had to improvise and use myself! :|
Luckily, I had good friend Xenia behind me to take the photos and luckily she had done photography before.
The final image is the finished image which I handed in. It is an editorial for Vogue's 'More Dash Than Cash' segment. Although this is usually shot in a studio, props are often used for a particular theme and I thought the background evoked wealth and status, which is a theme which often runs through Vogue magazine
I was really pleased with the final result and I got a high 2:1 in this project.

Louis Vuitton SS12

Now I know Paris Fashion Week was months ago, but as I have only just created this blog, I have to mention my favourite collection ever. It was designed by Marc Jacobs. It was the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2012 collection. This collection was full of trends including pastels, lace and feminine silhouettes. Kate Moss stepped out in a show stopping feather dress that ended the show perfectly!

The man behind this beautiful collection.
And just a few other photos which I think are the highlights of the show.

Missguided

One online retailer I am loving at the moment  is missguided. They have incorporated trends straight off the catwalk and a reasonable price. I love their suede studded platform boots. Everybody loves Jeffrey Campbells but unfortunately, we can't all afford them! These cost only £49.99, and are absolutely stunning!
