BIBA...

I got an email today informing me that House of Fraser had a sale of up to 70% off. My favourite brand at House of Fraser is Biba. They sell amazing handbags and accessories in a variety of different animal prints and textures. My favourite bag is an oversized clutch with two different animal prints (one on either side). In the sale this bag now costs only £95.20, and with payday on the way I may be making a trip to House of Fraser very soon!

Olivia Palermo

Olivia Palermo Rocked The Peplum Trend At Couture Fashion Week, 2012
Mixing textures is a trend which is not only on the British high streets, but even overseas. One fashion icon who pulls off this look and looks absolutely amazing doing it is Olivia Palermo. She not only mixed textures at Couture Fashion Week but also contradicted the rule of fashion to not mix navy and black. As we all aren't invited to Couture Fashion Week, I have found a piece which is a casual way to mix textures on an everyday basis. This Topshop jacket is £65 and is a similar style to a coat they brought out last Winter, however is more of a military style to stay on trend with this season.

Topshop Khaki Jacket, £65
If you have a khaki jacket with PU or leather sleeves, how have you styled it?

SALE!

Whilst shopping in Liverpool, I popped into Topshop to look at the sale they had on. There was so many items I just wanted to grab and rush to the till, however being a student, I have to learn to 'budget'. I bought a pair of pyjamas I had wanted to buy for ages which were reduced from £26 to £12 (absolute bargain) and a topshop boutique top which was reduced from £55 to £15. I also bought a couple of non sale items however I think the sale was second to none! Everything was reduced massively and seemed to be so cheap! If only every Topshop sale was as good as this one!

Did you pick up anything nice in the sales?

PRIMARK

Last week I went shopping in Liverpool and I spent a mere £60 in Topshop, even less in River Island.. and a staggering £75 in Primark! I did not realise it was possible to spend this much in that store! However, after browsing the four floors of amazing fast fashion bargains, I walked out with the biggest carrier bag they had, full of amazing buys!

I usually only go in Primark for slippers, socks and pyjamas, however I was stunned to see how on trend and cheap their shoes, bags and clothes were. I bought numerous basic tees, two pairs of shoes, a maxi skirt, underwear, accessories, a handbag and of course I had to buy some new slippers and socks just for tradition.

My favourite thing I bought was a white pair of snakeskin moccasins. They were a very affordable eight pounds, along with the six pound black suede-like slipper style shoes. Although I love designer - I have to say I think Primark is extremely underrated!

What are your opinions of Primark? Are you a lover or hater of this value retailer?
