Westfield Derby

Its been a long, long day shopping and boy are my feet paying for it! Me and my flatmate Sophie woke up and decided to spend our day shopping, which is nothing new- (we seem to end up shopping every time we have a few spare hours). We were bored of Nottingham and thought we would get on a train and go to Westfield Derby. I have only been to the London Stratford Westfield, so the Derby one seemed tiny compared to that but I actually managed to find some really good things!

So this is the first thing I bought today... a complete impulse buy!
This is my new t-shirt which was an absolute steal at only £6.99. It is the perfect length to wear with jeans or leggings. I am a size 12 and I got a Medium, so they are true to size.
I would say these are the sort of sizes to go by - XS = 6,   S=8,   M=10-12,  L=14

This is the label on the t-shirt is the label that is on their new collection 'The New Icons' which is representing the models; Daphne Groeneveld, Lindsey Wixson, Lui Wen & Joan Smalls.

Another campaign that H&M has going on at the moment is their 'AS SEEN IN VOGUE'.

There was a section at the front that had a few selected pieces that had these tickets on.
I bought a white jacket/blazer that was £29.99. It is absolutely gorgeous and is fitted really well, and is really flattering.

This blazer looked really nice with black and silver, but as it is an off white it will go with everything!

I also bought some little bits and bobs from Bodycare, some Zara perfume and a tin for my receipts.

H&M, £6.99

Receipt tin (can buy these in many stores across the UK), £6.

Eau de Toilette, 92 Champs Elysees Paris,
from Zara, £9.99 for 50ml

Rita Ora - she is hot right now..

Not only is she one of the best upcoming artists globally, but she is now the face of Chanel! Chanel has always been so classic and simple, with their monochrome theme, however it seems as though Karl Lagerfeld is giving the brand an urban feel with celebrity endorsements from the likes of Lily Allen and now Rita Ora. Her style is so versatile it can go from urban grunge to super chic, and I think having her as the face of Chanel will push the brand away from 'Coco Chanel' to a more urban styled Chanel.

Grab your clutch and go

If you've ever had a dilemma where you're on your way out the door and then suddenly realise you haven't got a clutch to match - then look no further! This Missguided clutch for £22.99 is an absolute steal. It is a nude colour that will match pretty much anything and with studs on is so on trend.
If you don't want such an eye catching clutch then there is this option. It only has studs round the outside so that it isn't as 'out there'.
If you aren't into studs and nude colours and want something a bit brighter than this Zara colour block clutch is exactly what you need. At £39.99 it is a bit more pricey, but it is definitely worth it! (It also comes in a fuchsia option too).

And finally, the final clutch bag that I have noticed is a leather animal print clutch by Zara. It is just a bit more expensive at £59.99, but I absolutely love this print!

Jersey Cape

THE CAPE IS BACK!
Capes come and go, but it is finally back! I have many capes in my wardrobe, but this is one I need to get! This Missguided jersey cape looks like the most comfortable thing ever! It is long so for people who are self conscious about their legs in shorts can wear this in the Summer, or pair it with jeans and boots for the Winter. It is only £16.99 and is such a staple that you will be able to wear for years!

This cape would look good on a casual day or on a night out. Team it with a tee, shorts and some Jeffrey Campbell style boots and you're well on your way!

If you want something a bit more on trend and out there, then Missguided also offer capes in different prints and fabrics.

Dress those joggers up..

We had the day of uni today, so we went shopping. I only bought some Miss Piggy 'Diva' shower gel, some Capri Suns and a few packs of wrigleys extra (strange combination, i know) but I did take a little detour into Topshop. Living a two minute walk away from Topshop does have its benefits! I seem to end up there all the time and I get to see the latest pieces in the store on a frequent basis.

Today I noticed that relaxed joggers were all over the place in Topshop. I tried on a few pairs, but with my ass being the size of Jupiter and my legs being so short, they weren't very flattering! There was one pair that looked nice on though and they were black with a white panel up the side (£38). I wear a lot of black and white so I thought they would be perfect.

However, if you are more into bright colours, then this pink pair is more your thing! (£30)

These casual joggers can be dressed up with heels, a tee and a blazer.

Zara also have some trousers which are similar and there are more options on the Topshop website.

Half & Half

Trends come and go - but this is a trend I wish was on the high street more often. This dress is a Topshop dress from this season and is half black and half polkadots. I love this dress and I think it would be a dress you could dress up or dress down. Wear it with bright accessories to brighten up the outfit, or wear it with black and white to work the monochrome trend this season.

The Half and Half trend has also been interpreted into tees. This is very similar to the dress but is all polkadots, just reversed. Polkadot is a big trend this season, so this top is ticking the monochrome trend and the polkadot trend in one very easy to wear tee.
